Virginian opens Vittles Cowboy Café (News item #4 published: 08/09/06)

Vittles Cowboy Café opened Saturday (Aug. 5) in Winthrop at the Virginian Resort.

New owners William May and Penney Taylor purchased the resort and restaurant in May from Margaret Anderson and Susan Fodor.

The restaurant has two grills, allowing "chuck wagon boss" cherie Lorenzen to cook breakfast all day long. Lorenzne is co-managing with "trail boss" Sheryl Hunter. The two will keep a pretty full menu going from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. according to May.

May and Taylor's family business incudles resorts in Chelan, Leavenworth, Snoqualmie Pass, Whidbey Island and Hawaii, which are managed as Sunspot Resorts.
