Ocean Shores Reservations has been a landmark in the area since 1964 providing private cabin, condo and home rentals to visitors on the North Beaches. "It’s a fun business and we love taking care of guests," said Galena, "They really enjoy the space and comfort that a home provides."

Now to expand her marketing, Galaena has entered into an agreement with Sunspot Resorts which books vacation rental homes in a half dozen Washington State destinations and other states.

William May, President of Sunspots and headquartered in Seattle said, "I grew up in the Aberdeen area and graduated there so this is great fun for me to be back in the area and participating with Dawn."

"In my job I get to visit Hawaii and other hot spots frequently and that’s nice of course. But I actually prefer the salt spray and brisk weather of the Northwest Coast. It is home. "

Sunspots offers hundreds of properties and will now be booking Ocean Shores accommodations as well. "Guests like to try new areas and I am sure a great many of our regular customers will love some of the wonderful homes that Dawn and her staff provide," said May.

"Bill and I have been looking for some way to help each other for several years," said Galaena, "and we finally put it all together. It’s a plus for everyone including the guests". Owners too will benefit with greater occupancy and new owners are invited to increase their rentals by contacting Dawn directly.
