Beachcombing
Many treasures drift up on the beaches for beachcombers to collect. Items fall from cargo ships during storms at sea. If you are really lucky, glass floats still occasionally drift over from Japan.

Storm Watching
The costal beaches are regularly pounded by winter storms, with waves reaching over 15 feet tall. Heavy surf is dangerous, do not go near the surf in storm conditions.
