Plumbob Publishing, a Seattle based company, has a unique web based Editorial system that publishes news, information and advertising in various small communities in Washington State. And we are looking for a hard working Editor/Publisher in each market.

You get 50% of all the advertising income and 100% of the prestige. There is no guaranteed salary, but we run the websites, do the billing, collection and bookkeeping and send you a weekly statement with your check.

You don't have to be a top notch writer or have journalism experience, providing you want to gather information, proof read and touch it up, enter it into our easy to use web based system and then distribute that news content to one or more websites in your general area.

You don't have to be a technical genius or have programming skills. We create the websites and all features. You do not have to be a website or internet expert of any kind.

Your name goes on every page as Publisher and Editor. If your volume is sufficient it may be possible tp create a print newspaper, newsletter or magazine for your area also.

The best part, is that we can do much of the technical work, leaving you free to gather the news and sell the ads. Each of the websites is custom created for each community. They can be for a town, city, county or even specialty interest groups like sports, skiing and more. Some of these specialty topics can be sold to advertisers from outside your area too.

There is no financial commitment on your part. You don't have to buy anything. You simply contribute 8 to 20 hours or more per week (depending on the size of the market) to being the Editor and Publisher. Much of the news can be located on the Internet, local groups and by telephone. You can operate from your home and all you need is a computer, internet connection and telephone.

This isn't a get rich quick scheme - it does take dedication and good people skills. You must be willing to interview people by phone, email or in person. You need to setup advertising for businesses in your area and submit the forms necessary to charge for the advertising.
