There are Really Two Idahos. The vast and fertile valleys of the South and the long thin pandhandle that juts all the way North to the Canadian border and it couldn't be more different. Here there are vast timberlands and untouched forests. Here is where big game hunters come and summer fun lovers. Winter too is busy with skiing, snow mobiling and every other snow sports. Everywhere you look there is recreation. From Lake Coeur d'lene to Pend Orielle to Priest Lake the area attracts outdoor enthusiastics like bears to a feast. There are less people here and most majestic mountains and the kind of mountain spirit that attracts fun overs and thrill seekers. |
